Domestic Mole Control
If you have ever had moles in your garden then you will know how much of a nuisance they are and how much damage even a single mole can do. Moles cause this damage by doing what comes naturally to them - by tunnelling through the earth. They establish these tunnels because this is where the mole gets its food source from of crawling insects and worms, which fall into the tunnels that the mole or moles have dug.
As the mole digs more and more tunnels, he pushes the spoils out and onto the surface in small heaps, or molehills to me and you.
The actual molehills themselves are usually just unsightly at worst but the tunnels that moles dig can undermine ground in a garden environment and ruin lawns. Mole control is often necessary.
Agricultural Mole Control
On agricultural land the unwanted soil from molehills gets a lot more costly.
Molehills can contaminate Sileage and haylage with Listeria which can not only be be fatal to livestock, but can cause abortions in them too, and damage to machinery that moles and molehills can cause can run into thousands of pounds.
With twenty years experience in trapping moles and with strychnine now banned, the skills of our traditional molecatcher have never been more in demand. Our molecatcher will professionally set as many mole traps as is needed to catch your problem mole or moles.
